The conditions of our warranty for MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC products are as follows:

1. LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY (Parts and Workmanship) is valid within warranty period from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects and workmanship which the details are as follows:

2. LIMITED PARTS WARRANTY for the following spare parts which excludes workmanship, accessory parts & re-charging of refrigerant. HP is based on Outdoor Unit Capacity. 1 HP = 9,000Btu/h.
   1. Compressor (limited to 1 claim during the below-mentioned period) :
      • Mr. Slim Room Air Conditioners : 2.5 HP and below      7 years warranty
      • Mr. Slim Room Air Conditioners  : 3 HP and above         5 years warranty
      • Mr. Slim Package Air Conditioners : 6.0 HP and below     5 years warranty
        (Cassette / Ceiling Suspended)
      • Package Air Conditioners      : 7.0 HP and below      3 years warranty
        (Ducted-type)
      • Package Air Conditioners : 8.0 HP and above     2 years warranty
        (Ducted-type)

3. 3. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER any unit damaged by usage not in accordance with instruction of operation, lack of routine servicing by our authorized dealers, installation not in accordance to installation manual and prevailing government regulation and installation, piping fault, abnormal voltage including use of private generator, natural disasters, pests, normal wear and tear, corrosion, rusting and stain resulting from installation in abnormal environment condition, cabinet plastic panel, filter strainers, dryers, refrigerant, extruded parts such as knob, levers, bulbs, socket, detachable parts and accessories including remote control unit, transportation and handling charges incurred in the delivery of unit to and from our service centres, routine maintenance servicing and any consequential damages or losses arising from unit fault.

It is the customer’s responsibility that products which require service must be accessible by conventional means (8’ ladder), no obstruction, otherwise, any expenses incurred shall be chargeable to customer.

4. THIS WARRANTY BECOMES VOID WHEN the serial number is removed, defaced or altered, any unauthorized repairs and modification is carried out to the unit, unit is used for commercial.

5. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IN MALAYSIA and for products sold by Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd and that the customer had purchased his /her MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC products from any of the duly authorised dealers appointed by Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., and that this Warranty Card had been fully and properly filled up, and duly endorsed by such dealer by stamping tis rubber stamp at the appropriate space provided overleaf. Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. Expressly exclude all liabilities for any MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC products purchased from any unauthorised dealers or third parties for example Online companies.

6. This warranty card is not replaceable in the event of loss, theft and/or defacement.

7. Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd reserve the right to refuse to attend to any product installed in locations which are deemed inaccessible and/or hazardous to the safety and well being of its employees or service agents. Locations can also mean areas classified as remote villages, towns and islands.

8. To the extent permitted by law, no other warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantable quality and fitness for a particular purpose, shall apply to the product. Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd shall not be liable for loss of profits, special, indirect or consequential damages sustained in any whatsoever proceeding, claim and/or demand resulting or attributed to the product and services rendered to it.

9. All express and implied conditions herein or otherwise are subject to Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd authority and discretion where and when deemed appropriate.

10. You are required to present the original copy of warranty in any event of claim. In the event the original warranty certificate is lost, the company is not obliged to honour the warranty herein.

11. You are required to submit the Warranty Card with full details to Mitsubishi Electric Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd via post. Alternatively, you can submit via E-Warranty (website: www.MitsubishiElectricSalesMalaysia).
